A Prayer for Bloggers

I am no longer my own blogger, but Yours.
Refine me with each post according to Your will, and order me as You please.
Use me to serve, use me to suffer.
May I be a follower – instead of seeking followers
May I post for You – or be ignored for Your sake.
Exalted, only for You, or humbled, completely for You.
Do with me and with each post as You wish, For only You know what is best.
May I not strive, but submit
May I not seek to compete, but to love
May I not desire accolades, but holiness
May my blog be full of You, and empty of me.
May I long for all of You, and nothing of this world.
May my words be focused only on the greatest audience: You. And You are enough.
May I not write to gain followers… only Your smile.
May my daily affirmation be in the certainty of my anointing… not in the size of my audience. May my identity be in the countless graces of Christ… never, in the number of comments.
May the only words that matter in my life not be those I write on screen… but those I live out daily.
Sincerely and frankly I surrender every sentence, every title, every post, every comment… or lack thereof… all to Your pleasure and Your perfect will.
My only fame is that I spread Your name. My only glory is the gift of Your Grace.
My only readers, Your eyes that seek to find me here and there.
This is what I ask of You, Lord…
Yahweh, only You are my God, not Google.Jesus, only You are my Savior, not the website counters.
And Holy Spirit, only You are my Comforter, not the comments.
May it be so yesterday, today, and with every post to come.
O glorious and blessed God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,You are mine, and I am Yours.
This is the prayer I make on earth, over the keyboard….May it be ratified in Heaven. In Jesus' name… Amen.
